Circadian Rhythm

Your circadian rhythm is the cyclical ebb and flow that happens in the body every 24 hours in conjunction with the rising and setting of the sun, and it influences nearly every physiological function that your body performs - all the way down to the cellular level.

What happens when you've lost your rhythm?

  • lowered immunity

  • poor digestion

  • disruptions in hormone signaling

  • weight gain/loss

  • reduction in mental performance and short term memory

  • increased risk for cancer, heart disease, and diabetes

  • exacerbate behavioral problems in kids

  • increase stress, anxiety, depression, and blood pressure

  • and so much more...

Also, take note that if any one of the above happens, it can set off a cascade of other health problems elsewhere in the body.

In this video, I'll teach you a little bit more about your circadian rhythm, the internal time keeping system that controls it, and how to keep your biological clocks in tick-tock shape.
