Digestion

Do you currently have heartburn, acid reflux, undigested food in your stool, problems with pooping, skin problems, allergies, hormonal issues, mood disorders, migraines, poor immune function, excessive bloating, cramping, or gas?

Have you been diagnosed with GERD, IBS, IBD, Crohn's, SIBO, ulcerative colitis, diverticulosis, or any autoimmune disease? Have you ever taken birth control, acid-suppressing drugs, antibiotics, or been on a vegan/vegetarian diet for a long time?

If you answered yes to any of these, then you, my friend, likely have a gut problem. And if that's the case, then you have some serious work to do, because what happens here determines your health everywhere else. In fact, one of the most important takeaways from this program should be:

"ALL HEALTH BEGINS AND ENDS IN THE GUT."

The whole point of eating is to break down food, assimilate nutrients, and gather electrons for your mitochondria. It doesn't matter how healthy you eat - if your digestive system isn't performing optimally, neither will you.

UNDERLYING MECHANISMS OF DIGESTIVE DISORDERS:

  • Low stomach acid or digestive enzyme production

  • Dysbiosis (An imbalance between good and bad gut bacteria

  • Food sensitivities or food allergies

  • A permeable gut barrier (leaky gut)

  • Chronic bacterial, viral, parasitic, or fungal infections

  • An overgrowth of bacteria or fungus in the small intestine (SIBO or SIFO)

  • Poor communication between the gut and the brain

  • Poor vagal tone (more about this on Day 13)

  • Chronic stress

  • Toxic foods, glyphosate, antibiotics, heavy metal toxicity

  • Lack of gratitude / poor attitude

  • Poor diet

The truth is, in today's world there's a lot that can go wrong with your gut. After today, you'll be in much better shape to start healing it. Ready to learn more about your digestive system?
